Tatler Singapore: The Cicheti Group’s Liling Ong and Lim Yew Aun on Their Recipe For Success


About: For the cover story of Tatler Singapore's November 2021 issue, I interviewed the co-founders of a Singapore-based Italian restaurant company, The Cicheti Group, restauranteur Liling Ong and her cousin, chef and co-owner Lim Yew Aun.


The duo, who runs Cicheti, Bar Cicheti and Wild Child Pizzette, shared their recipe for fostering sustainability in the kitchen, from reducing food waste to collaborating with local artists and craftsmen.


Out of the restaurant, Ong and Lim reflect on their eight-year journey of growing the group from a trattoria to a restaurant group and cultivating business sustainability in a challenging landscape.
